Accessibility Statement
Level Up Tutoring® is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our maths resources are available to all students.
1. Measures to Support Accessibility. We take the following measures to ensure accessibility: Include accessibility as part of our mission statement. Provide recorded versions of all lessons to allow students to learn at their own pace. Use clear, high-contrast fonts and mathematical notation that is legible for those with visual impairments. Ensure that membership areas allow for text-based communication, supporting students with hearing or speech difficulties.
2. Conformance Status. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Level Up Tutoring® strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA standards wherever possible.
3. Technical Specifications. Accessibility of Level Up Tutoring® relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:HTMLWAI-ARIACSSJavaScript
4. Limitations and Alternatives. Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of our platform, there may be some limitations. Our live lessons involve real-time whiteboarding and handwriting of mathematical equations. Handwriting: While we strive for clarity, handwritten maths can sometimes be difficult for screen readers to interpret. Support: If a student is unable to access a specific resource or worksheet, please contact us, and we will provide an alternative format (such as a high-resolution PDF or text-based explanation) within 3 working days.
5. Feedback. We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website.
Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers: Email: info@leveluptutoring.co.uk Response Time: We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 2 business days.
