A qualified teacher & examiner in your corner
I left school at 15 to care for my mum, and I’m now a GCSE exam marker and teacher with over 10 years of experience. It wasn't the start I'd hoped for - but it wasn't the end of my story either. At 28, I went back to education and achieved A*s in both maths and English, before going on to study a maths degree with the Open University. All of this whilst working full time and raising my own family. It was far from easy - but that experience is what drives me every day to help students succeed and discover just how capable they really are.
I'm now a qualified maths teacher and a Pearson Edexcel GCSE examiner. That means I don't just teach maths - I know exactly how it's marked. I know which topics come up most, what examiners are looking for, and where students lose marks they didn't need to lose.
My small-group lessons are built around that knowledge. I quickly spot gaps in understanding, focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference, and clear up the misconceptions that so often hold students back.

I believe every student can become confident in maths. My goal isn't just better grades - it's helping students learn to think mathematically, tackle challenges with confidence and build skills that stay with them long after the exams are over.

Personal 1:1 onilne space
Your child has their own workspace where only I can see their live work. I will also live mark - which they can see. So they get feedback instantly and hence progress quickly.

I build belief alongside skills, so students feel capable in every lesson. My belief is that confidence breeds success!
Qualified Teacher
Taught by an experienced GCSE Maths teacher and examiner with deep curriculum knowledge and exam experience. Knowing where gaps should be filled and which topics should be taught.

All of my students over the years have made an increase in grade, even going up to 3 grades above their estimated.
